VISION

Neeraj's Focus for Richwoods HOA
"I come from humble beginnings that were built on the foundation of service and trust. I'm a homeowner first, and a Board Member next. My intent is to be the voice of the Richwoods residents on the board aimed at the overall well being and development of residents.
I would like for folks to move into Richwoods not for the Property Value, but for the People Value "

Resident Enrichment
Neeraj as part of the Enrichment Committee of the HoA has been a Green Champion and a proponent of the same culture among the residents. He has also served as a Robotics and Presentation coach for children in middle and high schools, with the teams reaching all the way to state level.
As the residents, brace the future of “Smart Homes”, Neeraj believes, that the benefits of technology need to reach one and all. Enriching the residents with options on how to do it, and building support groups to help with that will be a focus.
While we get to making homes smarter, its also important to have our smarts applied to our life journey. Herez where the next level of enrichment on managing finances, retirement and facilitating that growth path will be key.
Promote Richwoods residents to take on healthy and active endeavors for the overall wellness in the neighborhood via support groups for yoga, running, cycling etc.
Richwoods as a Model Community
What would it take to make Richwoods a “Model Community” in Texas, or even in the country ? Neeraj believes it would take a combination of : RESIDENTS, DEVELOPMENT and TECHNOLOGY.
Residents:
Our residents are our assets, and really form the foundation of our community. To take it to the next level, our ability to address the questions below will go a long way in making it a “Model”:
-
What is not available in this community that you would use if it were?
-
As a family or individual, what are some of the challenges you face on a day-to-day basis?
-
In what ways do you contribute to your community?
-
Do you feel that residents in your community support each other? What more could be done?
"Being heard" will be critical, and will need to be enabled with an Online resident portal for TWO WAY communication.
Development:
The importance of development cannot be stressed enough. The ability of a community to provide a well defined process for all things affecting residents will be of prime importance, whether this is related to a structural change, or if it’s related to an existing service.
Being able to create a “Residents Forum” for gathering innovative ideas, and then prioritizing them for action will be key. It cannot be a “yearly” activity, it needs to be a continuous and iterative process.
A TCO based model for new amenities and prioritization by surveys of resident's will help bring transparency.
Technology:
Using Technology as an enabler will be the key to making our community the “Next Best Thing”. Here again balance will be of utmost importance, such that we don’t get driven by technology, but are the recipients of its use.
Use of technology use for new revenue models to support HOA
Celebrate Diversity
Richwoods is a diaspora of cultures and is truly the melting pot representing the “American Dream”.
In this respect, Neeraj has been an active member of the PTA cultural endeavors where diversity is celebrated. Neeraj wants to build an even more cohesive bonding between the residents, but conducting large volunteering events which bring out the best of our neighborhood as a “community that serves the community”.
-
Increase Community events that are inclusive such as Richwoods Annual Day with kids games
-
Teenage Volunteering Initiatives in groups of 4-6 kids along with rewards for top three teams
-
Recognize our support teams like Trash Pickers, Mailmen, SBB Staff, Community Landscapers, etc
